Submission Guidelines

The Journal on Centers for Teaching and Learning was founded in 2009 as a peer-reviewed journal and has been an open-source publication since 2016. Every submission is reviewed by members of our editorial board and, occasionally, additional scholars in fields pertinent to the submission’s subject matter. Authors typically receive a report from the editor-in-chief and copies of the individual reviews within three months of submission.

  • Submissions should follow APA format.
  • There are no length requirements, but submissions typically average from 20 to 25 double-spaced pages in length.
  • Please submit one blind copy and one copy with identifiers.
  • Send all inquiries and submissions directly to Tony Cimasko at tony.cimasko@miamioh.edu

Authors of submissions accepted for publication retain ownership rights to the copyright of their work and the right to use all or part of the JCTL contribution in future works (such as articles or books). Contributors to the journal agree to require that JCTL be given credit as the original publisher in any republications of the article authorized by the author. Authors of submissions accepted for publication grant JCTL a royalty-free, worldwide nonexclusive license to publish, reproduce, display, distribute, and use the published work.
