Accepting submissions for JCTL 17

The Journal on Centers for Teaching and Learning is accepting submissions for volume 17, to be published in late 2026.  JCTL offers a platform for educators to discuss their relevance to their institutions, contemplate new approaches, and reflect on ongoing conversations within their work.  Manuscript submissions to the journal cover various aspects of pedagogy such as the role of instructors in enhancing student learning, theorizing intersections between teaching, research, and service agendas, and exploring educators' involvement as political entities on campus. Additionally, JCTL provides space for discussions on administration of teaching and learning centers, creative approaches to everyday operations, student involvement, assessment methods, community engagement, public outreach, and other pertinent issues.

As always, we welcome manuscripts addressing any and all CTL topics. In particular for volume 17, though, we are encouraging submissions on CTL work with multilingual writers, framed with a practical eye toward curriculum design, faculty development, and writing across the curriculum.

For more information about JCTL, you can read more about the journal here, and explore past issues of the journal.  Please send submissions directly to Tony Cimasko at tony.cimasko@miamioh.edu by February 15, 2026, and review our submission guidelines.
