Gregg Wentzell earned his Ph.D. in English at Miami University, where he is Assistant Director of the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE). He is Managing Editor of the Journal on Excellence in College Teaching and Learning Communities Journal and Associate Director of the Original Lilly Conference on College Teaching. He develops and facilitates faculty development programming for the CTE to support classroom teaching, formative evaluation of instruction, and the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL), and he publishes and presents on faculty development and SoTL.
